RECORDINGS - In 2012 the innovative Italian CD label Sheva Collection decided to launch an offshoot Sheva Contemporary and I was most honoured to be chosen to set this project in motion. (I have since gone on to manage it as a sub-label.) Following this first disc, Steps Volume 2 by Giovanni Santini, a further fourteen have been released encompassing five of my six Steps piano cycles, chamber works, and music for string orchestra. I have been truly blessed to work with Ondřej Vrabec, Mainzer Virtuosi, Pavel Bořkovec Quartet, Olga and Ostap Shutko, Michael Bell, Fabio Menchetti, Alessandro Viale, Alberto Bologni, Georg Hamaan, Akari Komiya, Minjeong Shin, Liza Fediukova, Avant Piano Trio and many others.

Reviews of these recordings (along with wider articles) have become frequent with ten in the prestigious Gramophone, and many others in BBC Music Magazine, The Strad, Musical Opinion, Österreichische Musikzeitschrift, The Classical Reviewer, International Piano, Piano News, Klassisk Musikk, La Repubblica, Clarín, Ritmo, Arts Desk, Endnotes, Hudebni Rozhledy, Pizzicato etc..

"Ambitious, questing and pointedly European in outlook, the music of Peter Seabourne avoids easy answers. Clearly Seabourne is a composer with whom to reckon, his music combining a demonstrably Romantic rhetoric with an always audible and yet never facile approach to tonality." [Musical Opinion]

The CDs are easily found online stores and streaming sites, with many also on YouTube playlists provided by Naxos of America.

A collective project called the Munch Suite, recorded by Henning Kraggerud in 2012 for SIMAX, includes a movement of mine which was highlighted by The Independent. A work was also included by Valentina Renesto and Giusppe Bruno on Da Vinci label.

In May 2022 the renowned pianist Konstantin Lifschitz released Steps Volume 6 on Willowhayne Records.

In May 2022 BBC Music Magazine published an interview as part of their Meet The Composer series.
